Then after the party we went to Burger Stop to go on a Hayride to see the lights at the Layton Park and also to see Santa. I think it was a good day overall and I think Brody really enjoyed his birthday. You can tell that he knew it was his birthday because when all the guests got to the house he would get a huge smile on his face because he knew that they were there for him. And after the day he gave everyone a hug to thank them. He is getting so big!

What's been going on.
Well we lost our house. The thing that upsets me the most is we just went to pre-trail and the judge wouldn't even listen to us. By the time I got out of the court I was in tears, it just wasn't fair. We couldn't even decide on a payment plan with the judge, we basically have to talk to the attorney and see if there is anything we can work out. They were originally going to give us three days to get out but the judge gave us more time, we were suppose to be out by the 10th. The pre-trail was last Thursday and we were out by Sunday. We bust our butts all weekend because we had that mind set that we just wanted to get out in time. Its kinda sad because I am really going to miss that place, we only spent a year in there and we fought so hard to get it. But the thing that I am looking at is we never wanted this to happen, things just happen in life and you just have to roll with the punches. The other thing I am looking at is I think we could of done better and maybe it wasn't the right time to have our own place. We need to get our feet planted on the ground again and get settled and then things will just fall into place. I am so thankful that Chris' parents are letting us stay at their place until we get our feet on the ground. I couldn't do it without wonderful family and friends in my life. I just want to make it through the holidays and then after that focus on getting a place. Right now its not really important to me because at least we have a roof over our heads.
Other than that we just have been trying to celebrate the holiday season and give our kids the best Christmas ever. We went to Chris' mom's family Christmas party last Saturday and that was really fun. We all had a fun time spending time with family and friends.
Brody is no longer my baby anymore. He is now in a big boy's bed and he is going to be 2 on Saturday, time goes by too fast. Its pretty sad but rewarding at the same time. I am so thankful that he growing up healthy. He is getting to be my little smarty pants just like his brother.
Rocky on the other hand is really enjoying school. He loves his teacher and his friends. He is always proud of what he does in school and it makes me so proud of him. He has a wonderful teacher and I wouldn't want it any other way.
I am still working at Western Wats but they changed the name to Opinionology. I have a feeling that I am going to be working there for quite a while because I am trying to find a new job that is more dependable and reliable but it isn't working. Some times they don't even have projects so we get sent home and we don't even go in. I want a better job for me and my family because this job isn't cutting it anymore.
Chris is still trying his hardest to find a job but he is having a hard time also. This economy really sucks and I hope it changes soon because I don't know how much more we can take. He is staying positive and helping me with the boys while I am working. I am so grateful for everything that he does. He works so hard to make his family happy.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and be thankful for the simple things in life because you never know when they will be taken away from you. I know I am a lot thankful for the simple things in life and I am trying my hardest to stay positive. That is all that we could do right now.

Donations
I would hate to ask anyone this since the holidays are coming up but I am running out of options. We are in the process of losing our house. No one knows how bad it really is here. We try to hide it but things are not looking up fast enough for us. On Thursday we got a 3 day summon from an attorney for our rent, and that was pretty scary. And then we got a notice from the attorney that they have request a hearing for an eviction. I really don't want to lose my house, I am thinking of my kids here. I am ready to fight for my house and I am not ready to lose it. We fought just as hard to get into this place and I am not ready to lose it without a fight. We need to come up with 3,832 on our rent and we don't know how we are going to pull that off. We have tried everything. Chris has been looking for a job and no one would hire him because he either has too much experience or not enough. We tried many places to get emergency funding and they don't have funding until January. And then my job is not paying enough to make ends meet. We are digging ourselves in a deeper hole and we don't know how to get ourselves out of it. If anyone can donate anything I would really appreciate it, I have no one else to turn to then you guys. Thanks for your time!

Park City!
We went to Park City for my birthday weekend, which was October 23th. We only spent a night there but it was so worth it. Me, Chris, Chris' parents, Trena (Chris' sister) and her husband Shane and her son Aaron, Chris grandparents, Aunt Elise, Aunt Annette and her family, and Uncle Quin and his family was all that came down and spent some family time together. It was nice to get away for my birthday and it was also nice being with the family. We had so much fun there we didn't want to come back. We are definitely going to go back. Chris grandparents own some of the buildings there and they said whenever we want to go up there we can and we can just call them up and tell them when.

Some of the view from our room!

Some of our room. It looked more like an apartment
There is Brody in the door way

cake for my birthday

Chris and the boys in the pool. I couldn't join them
because I was on my time of month :(
When we first got there we had to stay in Grandma and Grandpa's room because our room wasn't quite ready yet. So we just sat and talk and Grandpa gave us a tour around the building. Annette and her family and Aunt Elise were already there because they got there earlier in the week so they were sitting down playing a game when we got there. We also had dinner in their room before we got to our room. When we finally got to our room we got settled in and decided take the boys to the game room so they could play for a little bit then after that everyone went swimming. I felt bad because I couldn't go swimming but I enjoyed watching them. Then after that we all did our own thing. Chris went and played a little pool with the guys and when he got back I went and hung out with Aunt Elise and we had a really good game of ping pong. That was one crazy night with all of us sleeping in one area. Me and Chris slept out on the big pull out couch, Rocky slept on an air mattress, Trena and Shane slept on a pull out bed from the kitchen table, Aaron slept out on the pull out small couch and Brody slept in a play pen. The only ones that really got a comfy bed was mom and dad. We all slept ok. The boys were so good the whole time we were there, I was so proud of them. Brody slept the best out of everyone and I was really surprised because that was his first time not sleeping in his crib. Trena was so worried that one of our boys would be the ones snoring but her son was the noisy one....lol Don't worry the other family members either went home because there were there for a while or they had their own rooms so it was only us in that one room that I mentioned. Overall it was a great time with the family, can't wait to do it again!!

Happy Halloween 2010
This Halloween was a busy one. On Friday we went to A Monster Bash at Central Davis Jr. High. They had carnival there, blow up bounce houses and refreshments and it was all free. I haven't been there in a long time. I went to school there, so it was nice to come back for a little bit. Then on Saturday we went to Toys R. Us for their Halloween thing, went to my work Halloween party and then we went to Trunk or Treat and then we went to the mall. It was so wet and cold that we didn't go door to door this year because by the time we were done with the mall the kids were tired and so were the parents...lol And plus I didn't take little kids out when it was so cold. We all had fun this year and I can't wait for next year.

Its that time again for an update!
Well things are started to look up for us. I got a job at this place called Western Wats. I started yesterday. Western Wats is a call center that does Telephone surveys on the phone. I just read surveys on the computer and ask for that certain person's opinion. We are not a telemarketing company because we never sale anything. Its a really easy job, a lot of talking though. I had some really nice people on the phone last night. I think I am going to like this job. It was easy for me to get. After more than a year of searching and trying to find a job I finally found one and it wasn't even hard to get. Its amazing how the simplest jobs you can get like that. I am very thankful to finally have a job and be able to support my family.
Chris kinda has a job lined up too. He is doing some graphic design work for one of my friends. My friend George runs this Vintage Travel business and needs someone to design the ads. Chris is very good at that. We have been searching for a long time to get a job in a field that we went to school for but no one would hire us because we didn't have 2-4 years of experience so with Chris doing this it will help him get some experience. George is going to pay a good sum of money to do these ads and then go from there and see what more he can do. I have a feeling that things are going to be good for us. It just seems like since he got this job working for George people been asking Chris to do graphic design work from left to right and we are very thankful for that. Maybe this is the time for me to go to work and for Chris to stay home with the kids and work on his career. I am glad things are finally looking up for us.
Rocky is loving kindergarten. He is so excited to go to school everyday. He is learning so much and we can already see that. His brother misses him but he knows that Rocky will always come back home. I am glad that Rocky is loving school and doing so well in it.
Brody is getting smarter and smarter everyday. He is learning new words everyday. Its amazing how much he is learning just off of his big brother. I can't believe he is going to be 2 in December. They grow up so fast! I am so proud of both my boys for doing so well in life already. I hope they continued to do well and become the best adults they can be.
I want to thank everyone that stood by our side and supported us through everything. We couldn't of made it without our family and friends. I know we could of made it through because we are a strong family and nothing is going to tear us apart.
