The 1st annual Team Piggy 5k walk/fun run

Yesterday I had the opportunity to walk in a 5k walk for breast cancer. It was a really amazing experience. I always wanted to do something like this because my aunt renee died from cancer of all over her body and I wanted to do it to support others in the disease. I even felt her presence there while I was walking so I knew she was there. It touched me so much to do it, how couldn't? Chris' aunt Stephanie is one of the members of Team Piggy and they did this walk to support people that they know going through the disease and also to raise money for their 3 day walk in November. And all the money goes to Susan G. Komen charity for breast cancer so its an awesome cause. Even though I am sore today it was for a great cause! I am glad I did it. I walk the whole 5 K even ran some so I am very proud of myself. If I had the chance to do it again I definitely would.

My shirt says speak no cancer, see no cancer, hear no cancer. This is how I feel towards cancer. I want us to find a cure for it because everyone deserves to live healthy and love lives too.
