The kids' checkups

Rocky had to have his 8 year old checkup and Sienna had to have her 1 year old checkup so we decided to to do their checkups together. And then Brody had to have a physical to be accepted into Preschool so we got that done the same time as well. They all did very good!! Brody hates having his finger poked but when Sienna got it poked she didn't cry at all. Such a big girl!! They are all growing great! I told the doctor about my concern with Rocky's headaches and he told me to keep track of when he gets them and what causes them. I know he doesn't need glasses because he did well on his eye exam. I think its when he doesn't eat for a long period of time. Sienna weighs 18 pounds 4.5 oz in the 9%. My tiny little girl! And her height is 28.5 in the 29%. Sienna is the only one that got shots but Brody might need to go back to get his Kindergaten shots if he is accepted in preschool. And Rocky is 50 1/2 inches in the 49% and he weighs 51.4 pounds in the 23%. He isn't quite ready to be out of the carseat just yet. He has to be 4 9'.

Sienna is now 1!!

Sienna on her birthday!
Getting spoiled by Aunt Trena on her birthday

On her birthday she had a great birthday. We spent it with the family and we went to the park.

The birthday girl with the push car from Nana and Papa

Today we had a party for her at Nana and Papa's. We originally planned it at the new splash pad in Kaysville but they decided to have arts in the park that day. I was kinda bummed but I think it worked out pretty well this way. We had a BBQ with the family, opened gifts, and had cake and ice cream it was perfect!!

Made from Smith's. Very happy with it!!

The cakes from the party.
All that came to her party was Jordan and her family, Johanna and her family, Trena and her family, Nana and Papa, Nana Heckert, Uncle Justin, Uncle Kenny, Taylor and her boys, Grandma and Grandpa Harmon and us of course.

All the guests!
Her loot!
I can't believe my little girl is one!! She is the most sweetest girl I have ever met, she is also a very beautiful girl. She takes after her mom in that...haha!! She loves her brothers and loves to torture them. She is a hand full that is for sure. She likes to get into everything especially turning on the video game systems. She doesn't like when you slap her hands when she is touching something that she shouldn't. She is cruising the furniture and I have a feeling that she is going to walk soon. She is already off the bottle and such a big girl!! She loves to eat just like her brothers.  We will see how big she is on Monday when we go in for her checkup. Rocky also goes in for his checkup and Brody goes in as well for a physical and I will update everyone on that.

A comparison!

LOVE MY LITTLE GIRL!! It seemed like just yesterday I had her!!

My big boy is 8!!

Rocky acting like Spiderman at his party

We had Rocky's birthday party on Sunday the 19th this year at our house. It was a Spiderman theme. He first wanted a Iron Man 3 theme party but we couldn't find anything Iron Man 3. Go figure when it came out this year. We had a fun time! It started out nice and sunny and then the clouds came rolling in and it started to rain.

The cool cake!
The games the kids played
The presents
We started opening the gifts outside...
....then ended up inside
One of his favorite gifts from Mommy and Daddy-An Ipad Mini!! He always wanted one!
His loot!!
I can't believe my son is 8. Its crazy how fast time goes by!! Now we have to start planning for Sienna's 1st birthday. Its so surreal to me!! My baby is going to be 1!! Rocky is the sweetest most caring boy I ever known. Everyone in his class just love him and he has so many girls that like him...lol. He is also very smart for his age. I couldn't be more proud. I know he is looking forward to his sister's 1st birthday because he loves her very much. I remember when I was pregnant with her before we found out she was a girl and he kept saying that it was a girl, I think he knew before we did. He just knows things like that!! He is turning out to be such a great man. He is tall and thin like his daddy and I think he is going to pass him in height. Can't wait to see what the next year brings him!!
And then to finish up his actual birthday today we went and saw Iron Man 3 that he has been waiting forever to see!! His favorite super hero just like him!! ;) We love you Rocky!! Happy Birthday my sweet son!!

Vegas 2013

We had so much time in Vegas the last time we went so we wanted to go again but this time longer. We went February 18-24. We had a blast! And the kids were really good especially throughout the car ride. I think the dual portable DVD player was the best investment we ever made because it kept them quite busy. We stayed with my dad again. The good thing about Vegas is that we know someone that lives in Vegas so we can always stay with my dad when we go up there and don't have to pay for a hotel, very convenient  On the way there we stopped at our cousins house in St. George to see their house and get out of the car to move around. It took a while for the boys to warm up but once they did they were having a lot of fun. They had a big playground in the back that they can play on. We got to my dad's place around 645 and he was already at work so we just stayed in and get situated.

Wednesday we went to Circus Circus and had a blast there playing the games. That building is so big that there is tons to do there. I wanted to watch the Circus acts but like I say there is so much to do there that you can do it all in one day and we wanted to do a lot of different things.

This is all the stuffed animals that we won at Circus Circus, well mainly Chris. He won that big bear in one try. He is better at the games than I am. The kids got way spoiled while we were there.

We also went to the M&M store that day also. We went there a couple of times but this was the boys favorite floors. The cool thing about this store is that there is like 4 floors of fun or something like that. The boys took a couple of pictures with street performers. They are everywhere on the strip. I have more respect for them than I have for panhandlers because at least street performers are trying to make a living. Speaking of panhandlers they are everywhere there also. And they are so rude!

On Thursday we went to The Fremont Street Experience. Both me and Chris weren't very fond of it. Not very family friendly. It mostly had casinos and gifts shops and little shops in between there. I thought this guy was pretty cool so I took a picture of him. This is one of the shops we went into. There was also a lot of panhandlers on The Fremont Street Experience also. This random guy gave my boys Mcdonald's toys. I thought it was nice but strange at the same time. I also left my purse at the Golden Nugget over on The Fremont Street Experience. Good thing I got it back and nothing was missing from it. Chris got even with me later but I will explain that later.

On Friday we went to Ethel M. Chocolates and Cactus Garden in Henderson Nevada. Like 20 mins from Las Vegas and OH MY GOODNESS...I was in Heaven!! They had so many choices in chocolates. I couldn't decide what to buy. I love chocolate!! They had some really cool cactus' as well there that had some unique cool names to them. They really looked like the names so you can definitely tell where they got the name from. We went back to strip to try to find my mom a personalized mug because she wanted one so bad and we finally found one. We looked everywhere and the last place we looked finally had it. Go figure!! We first bought just a C cup at the M&M store because we were going to give up and then we decided to go into the gift shop at New York, New York and found one there. I couldn't believe it!! So I ran all the way to the M&M store to return the C cup. My mom appreciate me a lot more for doing that for her.

On Friday we also had a picnic at Red Rock Canyon and looked at all the cool rocks. It was gorgeous and a perfect day for a picnic! The boys raced with Papa and wore him out but they had fun getting out and walking around nature. All I can say we were all pooped out from this day!

Since Saturday was our last few day at Vegas we stayed out all day since my dad took the day off. We went to the Hoover dam and it was so high up that it made me nervous. The Hoover Dam was still pretty cool because we were right on the border of Nevada and Arizona. But before we headed out we stopped at a gas station and was throwing away some stuff and Chris couldn't find his wallet while we were trying to enjoy ourselves at the Hoover Dam. So we went back to the gas station thinking he dropped it and he ended up dropping it in the trash can. Good thing it was still there when we got there. We were really lucky on both occasions with my purse and with his wallet. We had some adventures and memories that we will never forget. Things that we will look back on and laugh about. On our way back home we had breakfast/lunch with Jerran and Megan to catch up again. The waitress at Denny's was wasting our time. She would get everything wrong and was really slow on our food and then we stopped at Blakeley's and Andrew's to meet Adelyn for the first time and Sienna and Adelyn had so much fun talking to each other and playing with each other by touching each other's faces and playing with toys. They are only 6 days apart and so close in age. It was also our first time seeing their new place. All in all it was a great vacation and we all needed a change in scenery. While we were gone Utah got some snow while we had some sunshine and great weather. It was time to come home, now everyone is a lot happier and calmer.

February Happenings and more to come!

Sienna turned 8 months

Me all dolled up celebrating our 9 year anniversary

Sienna got her ears pierced on her 8 month

And then tomorrow we are going to go to Monster Jam. Our first time taking the kids. And then next week we are going to go to Vegas to see family and have some fun and to get out of Utah for a while. More on both of those later. I have been kinda slacking on the picture taking lately, I need to get back into it since I got a new camera.

Christmas 2012

This Christmas was a little bit different. I wanted a different feeling this Christmas. Maybe because we had a little girl and it was her first Christmas. I didn't take very many pictures because the day was so busy. But the few I did I will post. On Christmas Eve we went to a Christmas Celebration at my sister Jordan's church. Its called Christian Life Center. It was something different and I really enjoyed it. I felt the spirit there. And I was so thankful that everyone welcomed us there. My dad came in on Christmas Eve and I was suppose to pick him up that morning but the unexpected happened. We were noticing that our tire kept getting flat the past couple of days and I blew it up before we headed on the freeway that day thinking I was going to be ok to go get him and then come back and then go to Discount Tires but I was wrong. My tire ended up getting flat again. After what happened to me on the freeway and also going to the Christmas Celebration made me realize that God is really there in everything we do. I know he was there with me on the freeway. I was so thankful for the highway patrol and family that day. I don't know what would of happened if both of them wasn't there. To make a long story short we found out there was two holes in our tire and was able to replace it with a new one. Someone was looking down on me and my children that day, I truly believe that. On Christmas morning we opened our presents from each other and then from my dad.
Our tree Christmas morning

Brody opening one of his favorite gifts

Rocky opening his batmobile
Sienna opening her pack and play that I have always wanted for my kids
After we opened gifts at our house we went to Chris' parents and opened gifts there and had lunch. It seemed like all the family was there and I was happy to see all of them. I am glad that I was able to pass out family pictures to everyone. Then we went back to our house and my family came over to open gifts and have dinner. It was my first time hosting Christmas dinner at my house and I think it went really well with the the help of my father. Thank you dad for everything!! It seemed like it was never ending of present opening. I think my children had a better Christmas than me and that is ok to me. They are the more important ones. They all got everything they wanted and that is all that matters to me. I am just thankful that we got to spend the whole day with all the family. Being with family and enjoying each other company and celebrating Christ's birthday is the true meaning of Christmas. We even had cake for dessert for his birthday. I think it was appropriate dessert for Christmas. :) I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!
