An update for the New Year

I was reading my blog and realized that I need to update a little bit. I am still looking for a job and I have to say it hasn't been easy. I applied at so many places and before giving me a chance they turn down my application even before I get an interview. I didn't get that Production of Graphic Design job and I don't know why. He never responded back to my resume and I tried to get a hold of him and he never responded back to that either. I really wanted that job because it would of been perfect for me. I hate when jobs leave you hanging. But I moved on and tried to get a new job. I went to this Census test and so far so good but I am not getting my hopes up. You had to get a 10 or more right on the test to passed and I got a 20 out of 29 questions right. It was a pretty simple test, just general information on things you have to know for the Census job. They called me today to ask a question about my degree from Eagle Gate and that is all they wanted so that is a good sign because I know that they are at least looking at the test and application. This job would be so good for us. It pays 11.00 an hour. So while I am waiting I am still looking so I have something to fall back on.

Chris is still working at Gamestop as Assistant Manager but he is hating retail more and more everyday. He is saying that its making him a different man but I just think its from the manager that he is working with. I know things will get better for him at work once I get a job because than he won't be so stressful about money. I think its a lot of things that he is going through right now that is making him feel the way he is feeling. When he isn't working he is doing Ghost Hunting. Him and his buddies have a group called 4gh and they go to potential places to find the truth. He really enjoys it and I support him in it. I believe in that stuff because I have witness myself a ghost place. At least he isn't hurting anyone and plus he is always careful when he goes out. Everyone needs a hobby and that is his hobby.

Rocky is still on the waiting list for Headstart but he moved up. He is now number 5. The last lady I talked to was really helpful. I guess when we registered I still had a job so I updated all my information and she said if we fax her Chris' last paycheck stub from 2009 there is a good chance that he will move up. I am so looking forward for him going to school. I know that he will enjoy being with other children his age and also I think it will be good for all of us. I think most of the time we get on each other's nerves because he is always home with me and we know what pushes each other's buttons. I also think him going to school will change his attitude a little bit and get him smarter. He is such a smart ass sometimes but I love him. He really helps out his brother and likes playing with him. He is such a good friend to Brody and I hope it stays that way.

Brody is getting so close to walking. He cruises the furniture likes its nothing and walks the walls he just needs to gain more confidence and he will be good to go. He also has another tooth coming in...HIS THIRD! He is taking a while to get more teeth but that doesn't stop him from eating anything and everything. He is getting more cuter everyday! I am enjoying watching him grow everyday.

I am so looking forward to this year because its going to be a good one for sure. I know as of right now things are a little bit tough but I know we are going to hit a few rough patches before we reach the final product. We are so eager to get our tax returns back because we are going to get back on track, buy new couches and save our money this time so we are not stuck in a rut again. I think once we get back on track and pay everyone off things will then fall into place. Once I get a job things will get even better because then I can help Chris with the bills and then his checks wouldn't have to go to everything. We now realized that we can't live off one income, its just not possible anymore. Our goal last year was to get into a home and out of those apartments and we accomplished that so now we have to focus on getting financially stable and I know we can do that. And once we are financially stable I know things will approve on everything in our lives because we will be a lot happier. Once we get all stable I would love to go on vacation, that is the next step. I believe that there is going to be good things to come. Now that we have moved on from all the deaths that happened in 2009 we can now look forward to more positive things.
