Christmas 2012

This Christmas was a little bit different. I wanted a different feeling this Christmas. Maybe because we had a little girl and it was her first Christmas. I didn't take very many pictures because the day was so busy. But the few I did I will post. On Christmas Eve we went to a Christmas Celebration at my sister Jordan's church. Its called Christian Life Center. It was something different and I really enjoyed it. I felt the spirit there. And I was so thankful that everyone welcomed us there. My dad came in on Christmas Eve and I was suppose to pick him up that morning but the unexpected happened. We were noticing that our tire kept getting flat the past couple of days and I blew it up before we headed on the freeway that day thinking I was going to be ok to go get him and then come back and then go to Discount Tires but I was wrong. My tire ended up getting flat again. After what happened to me on the freeway and also going to the Christmas Celebration made me realize that God is really there in everything we do. I know he was there with me on the freeway. I was so thankful for the highway patrol and family that day. I don't know what would of happened if both of them wasn't there. To make a long story short we found out there was two holes in our tire and was able to replace it with a new one. Someone was looking down on me and my children that day, I truly believe that. On Christmas morning we opened our presents from each other and then from my dad.
Our tree Christmas morning

Brody opening one of his favorite gifts

Rocky opening his batmobile
Sienna opening her pack and play that I have always wanted for my kids
After we opened gifts at our house we went to Chris' parents and opened gifts there and had lunch. It seemed like all the family was there and I was happy to see all of them. I am glad that I was able to pass out family pictures to everyone. Then we went back to our house and my family came over to open gifts and have dinner. It was my first time hosting Christmas dinner at my house and I think it went really well with the the help of my father. Thank you dad for everything!! It seemed like it was never ending of present opening. I think my children had a better Christmas than me and that is ok to me. They are the more important ones. They all got everything they wanted and that is all that matters to me. I am just thankful that we got to spend the whole day with all the family. Being with family and enjoying each other company and celebrating Christ's birthday is the true meaning of Christmas. We even had cake for dessert for his birthday. I think it was appropriate dessert for Christmas. :) I hope everyone had a great Christmas!!

Brody and Sienna's checkups

Both the kids are doing great! Both growing healthy and looking great. Both did very well for Dr. Nye. Brody weighs 36.4 55% and his height is 41 inches 66%. He is also being such a great big boy these past few months. He let Dr. Nye look over him and everything. My mom was concerned about his sight so we got it check but he wasn't being cooperating. Dr. Nye said that he is just probably developing differently. Brody doesn't have to get shots until next year. Sienna weighs 14 pounds and 13.5 ounces 27% and her height is 26.25 72%. Her misshaping head is improving so that is good, seems like we are doing a good job there we just have to keep it up. She got shots of course. Don't have to see her until 9 months. Proud of both my kids!!

Brody's 4th birthday party!

We had his birthday party at Nicklecade this year and it was a football theme but it looked like it ended up being a hulk theme because he got a hulk action figure, hulk gloves and a hulk mask. He has been into Hulk a lot lately. He likes how he smashes things and he is strong and green. It was a great birthday. Everyone had a great time!!

I made a cool football cake. Brody loved it!
It was me, Chris, Rocky, Sienna, Nana and Papa, Trena and Aaron, Johanna and her family, Jordan and her family, Taylor and the boys, Nana Heckert, Uncle Justin, Cousin John and Olivia and Uncle Kenny.
He got some really good presents. Everything he wanted!! I am so happy the way it turned out and thank you to everyone that came!! He doesn't actually turn 4 until Tuesday. He is growing up so fast and he is so smart too. He has a lot of energy and one of a kind!
